Refund & Service Guarantee Policy
At Stout’s Heating & AC, we stand behind the quality of our heating and air conditioning services. Your comfort and satisfaction are our top priorities.
1. Service Calls & Repairs
- Diagnostic Fees: Diagnostic or inspection fees are non-refundable, as they cover technician time and expertise.
- Repairs: If a repair does not resolve the issue we were contracted to fix, we will return at no additional labor charge within 30 days to make it right.
- Refunds: Refunds for repair services will only be issued if:
- The repair was billed but not performed, or
- Replacement parts were defective and a satisfactory resolution cannot be provided.
2. Installation & Replacement Systems
- Deposits: Installation deposits are non-refundable once equipment has been ordered.
- Cancellations: Cancellations made before equipment is ordered are eligible for a full refund.
- Workmanship Guarantee: We provide a workmanship warranty on new system installations. If there is a defect in installation, we will correct it at no cost.
3. Products & Parts
- Manufacturer Warranties: All equipment and parts are covered by manufacturer warranties. Warranty claims must follow the manufacturer’s policy.
- Refunds on Parts: Special-order parts are non-refundable once ordered. Stock items may be returned within 14 days if unused and in original packaging, subject to a 15% restocking fee.
4. Customer Satisfaction Guarantee
If you are not satisfied with our service, please contact us within 7 days of completion. We will work with you to resolve concerns, which may include additional service, credit toward future work, or a partial refund if appropriate.
5. Exclusions
Refunds or free re-service will not be issued for:
- Issues unrelated to the original service call.
- Pre-existing problems not diagnosed during the visit.
- Damage caused by misuse, neglect, or third-party alterations.
